Can't believe how f*cking cold it was last night, even with antifreeze the coolant seems to have frozen.

Can't seem to understand what's happened though, the car was overheating to the point the red lights came one, and both fans were on, but when i took off the radiator cap and the rad top hose it wasn't even slushy?

Could something be frozen further down the radiator? Or buggered thermostat?

Bit worried about the block too if it's managed to freeze...

the rad got hot, as did all the hoses, which suggests there's circulation.

I know there's no airlocks too, system was bled when I was looking at the matrix

that was lucky, turns out the coolant in it was just rusty water.

flushed the system with hot water followed by fresh coolant, working fine now.
