How can i tell if they are? Any tell tale signs? kinda a fine rough texture, but fairly smooth, and has a line that runs right around the rod half way...
Any ideas?

Hey guys, got a new set of thicker rods for the TD, from a HDI, am told they are meant to be forged on all DW10 engines, and read that somewhere to.How can i tell if they are? Any tell tale signs? kinda a fine rough texture, but fairly smooth, and has a line that runs right around the rod half way... Any ideas? |

Ok, just took some pictures, these are acually the XUD rods not the HDI ones, but there identical to look at, just the HDI ones are slightly thicker in places.What do we think? |

Yeah there standard rods, but the likes of this site:http://paulaxford.com/suzuki/misc_docs/8-valve%20engine%20description.pdf Say there forged as standard in the dw10....but hmmm |

Also just to throw another question into here...does anyone know where i can find arp big end bolts...no where will source them for the HDI engine / XUD engine, but the 205 MI16 is an xu9 petrol...i bet there the same? anyone know? |
