Hey guys, got a new set of thicker rods for the TD, from a HDI, am told they are meant to be forged on all DW10 engines, and read that somewhere to.

How can i tell if they are? Any tell tale signs? kinda a fine rough texture, but fairly smooth, and has a line that runs right around the rod half way...

Any ideas?

Ok, just took some pictures, these are acually the XUD rods not the HDI ones, but there identical to look at, just the HDI ones are slightly thicker in places.

What do we think?
