open bonnet look at radiator right side on top theres a plastic tap thats one. next one is a 5mm allen key on top of thermostat housing. next one is next to brake fluid resivoir near exhaust heat shield theres a tyre valve cap thats the third. ________________________________________ clio r27ps3 id:cooperkloe |

I'd advise using a home made header tank as i tried for over an hour and couldnt get the thing to bleed, then realised i forgot what they said on here, used the header idea and after a few mins all 3 points bled and the heating toasty hot =D |

you can also (if you have two jacks) jack the front of the car right up and bleed it. It makes the filler higher than the heater matrix bleed screw. ________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

Or just find a nice steep hill. To be fair a 2L bottle will do it fine and you can help matters by giving it a squeeze.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

I've never needed a home-made header tank to bleed the system and I've done several coolant changes now... Strange...Mind you, I've always done the bleed points the other way around; matrix first, then thermostat housing and then the radiator after the thermostat has opened. ________________________________________ Rich |

Makes sense to me as the air will go to the highest point. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

got it bled, took it round my mates and ran it for a bit, then undid the radiator bleed screw thing. f*cking loads of air in it. just have to flush all the rusty sludge out now!________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of De-Nile.Friday afternoon car, built in France.... 306gti6.com Stickers available, pm me for details. or email MjStones83@hotmail.com Sticker Thread with pics |
