I no this is a form for 6 and rallyes I have told people my self. I am after some advise I need to change the timing belt on my brothers 306 turbo diesel but not to sure what the crack is with it. Dos any one have photos of one they have down just need to no where to lock up the crack and cam think the fuel pump is in this set up to ?________________________________________ Team Black Rallye |

basically, RTFM! it covers this engine pretty damn well, its a tad fiddly as its a little tight on space, but take your time and use the right tools you'll be fine.the crank locking pin can be a bit tricky as the hole in the block rusts up, but the cam and inj pump use threaded bolts to lock them in place, and the tensioner is sprung. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

What do you mean its not like the 6 engine there is a spring type? :is it tighter to do than the 6 0ne in place ________________________________________ Team Black Rallye |

The tensioner is spring loaded. there is a square hole in it to allow it move.________________________________________ PH2 NILE BLUE GTI 6 |

So it automatically sets the tension once release an I right in saying ?________________________________________ Team Black Rallye |

yep, then once set you lock it in place, its pictured quite clearly in the manual ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
