Well the clutch has gradually got so hard to press that i now walk like ive a false leg. So while the box is out i i might as well sort out the 3rd gear that sometimes crunches if doing a downchange into 3rd. Can anyone advise me of any other parts i will need to change as im relacing the 3rd gear synchro at weekend on a works ramp. Im trying to avoid having the car stuck there or pushing it out on monday. The car has done 65k. Theres two repair kits on service box

Does anyone know what the difference is between the two and if its worthwhile changing?

No idea on new parts as they cost the earth, Got loads of S/H ones as I tend to strip crash damaged box's for parts.
But I would change all seals, Input shaft bearings as you need to take these off anyway to change 3&4 gear Syn and thats it, You also need to check the end float in the input shaft when rebuilding thou
