Right my GTI went in to get gearbox oil changed about 2 weeks ago and today if the first time i have drive it myself and for some reason its really hard to put it in to gear very hard to put it in 1st and 2nd it was finne before the change could it be someting to do with the oil change or do i blame the person who has driven it in the last 2 weeks? |

not sure tbh, im sure someone will give you the right answer lolbut when i changed my GB oil when i changed the GB mount it was very stiff / hard to get in gear for a while, especially when cold, after about 4 weeks its now better than ever... ________________________________________ Ex-Black 6 - Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you. |

is the clutch biting point still in the same place?I bet they have used the wrong grade oil, pug synchros do not like anything but the correct grade, total amongst a few do an oil specifically for peugeot gearboxes, ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

biting point seems in same place however when putting in to second it cruuches a tiny bit now when you do get it in gear. |

Going to be the oil. With it being a little colder now it will start to show it more. Really cold days and it'll be very hard to get into gear.Get the proper stuff from Peugeot to sort it out - they are very sensitive to it. ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

2.1L it says in the book, doubt you'll need more than the 2.0 they'll sell you for about ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

just changed driveshafts and g/box oil brought from pug.. 2L will do the job.________________________________________ ice |
