i did have a phone full of pics of my engine bay, the car stripped apart and of my engine going in but due to loosing my phone i lost all the pics. so here are some pics i took now its back on the road.
the list of new bits is almost endless. i have put in a new rebuilt engine bought from Carl (mechanical repairs) on here,fitted solid engine mounts,ge quickshift, new aux belt,new aux belt roller and tensioner, top mount chocks, new clutch, new wishbones inc balljoints,new track rod ends, new discs and pads,replaced both rear calipers, engine painted up along with gearbox and all bits and bobs like lifting eyes etc,fitted a resonator bung and cut the old resonator so it looks standard still, subframe recond, steering rack recond, new heater matrix (slag of a job ),replaced the carpet inside car too,removed all old soundproofing as well when i did this inc behind the dash, new wheel bearings, new rear beam mounts, new ft bilstiens, new top bearings, new aircon pipes, new aircon rad, decat magnex full stainless system inc powerflex rubbers, bmc carbon enclosed air filter system wrapped in silver heat reflective tape to keep even cooler inc pipework, omp top strut brace, new clutch cable, replacement ft seats,new pug steering wheel, morretes with new lenses,i havent put the new main beam lamps in yet, new fog lamps, all arch liners replaced,i have wolfrace voodoos fitted with 205 45 15 tyres.interior has omp pedals, just fitted a nice set of mats, sony cdxm800 head unit,6 disc changer, vibe line driver, 6.5 inch fli 3 ways in doors, lanzar tweeters in the mirror covers, 10 inch jbl 3 ways on custom built shelf, 2 10 inch kicker comps in custom built boxes, 15 inch vibe black air in a tuned box again custom made, powered by a vibe 1800 watt amp, a kicker 400 watt amp and a small 200 watt amp powering the ft speakers. in the next week i shall be fitting braided hoses and lower strut brace. sure there are bits i have forgot too.
considering this car cost me 150 quid in feb its not too bad!

that looks so good without the door strips on it, i guess it had to be smoothed in? it doesnt look like that by just taking the strips off?
have not really had much of a chance to use the poorboys stuff yet, but i got a buffer too at the weekend, many thanks to CUJ for picking it up for me.
shall be having a go this weekend i hope.

yeah they will have been smoothed in, there is a recess where they sit and they are clipped on so there are holes left when the strip is removed.

I personnally think they look better with the strips on but eaach to his own

yeah they were filled! have them done when de-locking after some toe-rag tried to pop the lock!

then some lovely old lady reversed into it Doh
so she paid for it doing i just got a second hand door lol

I used natty blues wax and auto glym deep shine polish works a treat! Big grin
