Am i correct in thinking this is the K&N replacement for the standard filter, so can just be swapped with the original simple as that?

Is this the right one? Mines a T reg, so '99, but i would guess they're the same from '97 onwards?

Also, from what i could see in the failing light, the air box is cylindrical, so i wouldve expected the filter to be the same, but the above link appears to be a panal?

please advise!!

That looks like the right one Chris Yes

Don't worry - that's just a generic K&N photo, the actual product will be round as per the OEM item.

yeah that's the bugger, fitted a few of them, after one at the moment actually!

GSF do them but not sure of their current price.

Green also do them at a very similar price, the code for theirs is R434000, they do free UK postage too so cheaper than your Link.
