As some of you may remember, a friend crashed my car few months back

Few complications down the line have slowed progress - but current state:

Car fully stripped
Car straightened
Car gutted + dinks removed ready for full spray
wings / bonnet all sanded back to metal, prepped sprayed treated for rust/whatever they do
Crystals
HID kit

Everything is being smoothed, remove rear boot lock, door locks, indicators, flush bonnet.

Full respray inc roof

Timescale, 2-3weeks I hope..

Sofar sprayued inside of bonnet and wings, cherry is soooooo deeeeep Love

If anyone has any suggestions of other things I can do whilst the car is apart it would be appreciated.

Few pics of progress..

Once the c*nt comes back from fishing he can finish it.

I'm stripping the other one I bought and turning it into a track car.

Quite eager to see the results off all this hard work, i know myself how much of a pain it is to go to this extent to get a car roadworthy again, and completing a full bodywork overhaul yourself is very satisfying.

Thumbs up

I have just checked the camera and it appears that expensive cameras are not just point and click, therefore all of the pictures are f*cking useless.

I will take some more 2moro night on a newbie camera.

Bought a load of oil earlier + fitted new oil cooler thanks richard, + new oil filter etc.

Thanks to Jonny205 for telling me what oil I needed to get, I was expecting the guy who served me to know...

So i'm armed with 10 litres of oil, some engine flush, and a semi.

Started filling the engine up, bear in mind I am useless at this kind of thing... Bryan was talking to a girl in the office bit (for a few min then come to assist me)

So times going by, i'm 5 litres of oil in, I can't tell what the hell the coilpack is that he told me to unplug to turn engine over - so I whack the bumper kit onto the battery and start the beast up

Started first time, no visible oil leaks this time, blipped the accel a bit just to be sure - all ok.

Tapping.... now to me this meant I needed to put a bit more oil in....

bit of smoke started coming out exhaust after a few minutes so I went to see what was holding bryan up, walked in on him nailing this chick doggy style.

"Dude how much oil shall i put in?" - He shouted back mid stroke just fill it up.

So i emptied 10 litres in and it did not seem "full" to me.

What he meant was check on disptick like any normal person would do and stop when it's at the right level..

Drained the oil out, re-filled correctly this time, still a bit tappy but i did not let it run long.

Called jonny205 again but my piece of crap phone seems to cut out during phonecalls.

Thanks for always taking my calls man and the help you give me.

End result, engine seems OK, bit more time will tell.
