Hi all just picked up a new 6 today. Couple of issues i want advice on.
First it knocks when slowing down even when not braking. Also it vibrates when going above 70 which i think may be the tyre balance as braking is fine, but could it be my suspension? It has brand front springs.

Most likely worn engine mounts allowing the engine to move too much causing the exhaust downpipe to hit the body, or a cracked chassis/engin top mount. Try dipping the clutch and braking, by removing the engine braking from the equation if the noise persists it must be something else. Possibly worn wishbones or ARB droplinks.

Worried now as noise does go away when clutch is down. This most likely mean my mount is damaged?
Also it makes the noise when i turn right but not left?
Got a bargin buy but now seeing why
