Yes, phase 1 cars have separate pumps and level senders. Phase 2 and 3 are combined units. All phase 2 and 3 petrol pumps are the same though. ________________________________________ Rich |

ahh right, do they all pump out the same amount of fuel to the engine? as i converted my ph1 XSi to a gti, and was wondering becuase i got a slightly low dyno reading, i thought the difference in the pumps could cause low readingcheers ________________________________________ Black Ph1 XSi-6161.8BHP (Getting Better!!!!) |

No it won't be that. The phase 1 XSi pump is the same as the phase 1 GTi-6 pump.Did you get the cam timing checked as suggested? ________________________________________ Rich |
