As I said in my introductory post, there is an issue with the speedo randomly deciding to stop working. It seems the most likely cause is the speedo pickup sensor/VSS.
When looking for a new one, I found 2 on ebay and am not sure which one to go for. Aparently one is electrical, the other electrical & mechanical

There's also one on GSF car parts, but doesn't specify what type it is...

Any ideas?

either will do the trick, though obviously you dont need the one with a mechanical takeoff for the Speedo, only the S16 was like that AFAIK, all gti6's used the fully electronic setup.

as for the GSF one, doesn't matter if its cheaper, just bung the hole like they did in the factory before they used the fully electronic one.
