I'm placing a 5speed gearbox onto my Gti6 lump thats going into the Xsi shell currently, and wondering whether the 'Speedo Drive' is the same as the six speed one to avoid adding more miles on then normal?________________________________________ Richies Project RallyeElectrical work carried out in Portsmouth jamiek_uk2000 wrote: - Top Tip!!! i dont think you will have an issue. i run an s16 engine with an xsi box and the speedo converted to electronic as per the xsi box [s16 was cable driven]. do you mean due to the actual 6 box? eitherway i think it will be finecould always use the xsara one but i bet they are swappable ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |
