Hi chaps

Is it possible to adjust the height of the standard brake pedal upwards on a '6 (other than by buying a custom pedal box)?

I'd like to practice (and eventually use Big grin ) heel and toe gearchanges on track, but the current set up means the pedal is a bit low to blip the throttle once pressed down, other than with the top of your foot!

Cheers

Neal

It must be doable, i dont know if there is adjustment so to speak but you should be able to bend or cut and weld it, failing that, just make a spacer block from ally or something to bolt into the pedal, like platform shoes!!

I can heel and toe in mine as is, the only thing i have are braided brake lines, this might sharpen up the pedal/reduce travel due to less flex/bulge in the lines.

Its quite a thing to get right, keeping constant pressure whilst blipping a throttle is hard enough, let alone adjusting braking forces and blipping the throttle.

left foot braking is another area to look into, can make the car much more stable in a turn, keeps it balanced if doing it correctly.

check that your accelerator cable isn't too tight.

Thanks for the thoughts guys - pretty sure my accelerator pedal is correctly adjusted, but will check. Not sure I like the idea of pedal blocks...

Learnt to do it in my previous 6 - had to really syncro has reluctant on second - twas awkward due to the sharpness of the brakes.

Have to learn again once my ankles fixed - missing it so much Sad
