I was changing gear last night when all of a sudden i lose all of my gears and the car goes into nuetral (this has happened before but im usually left in gear and one of the linkages has popped of the ball joint thing) so when i looked at it this morning it looks like the bit towards that the linkage clips onto closest to the engine has completely sheared of il try and get a photo later but what i want to know is, iks it DIY repairable e.g. weld or is the part cheap to buy and refit myself

sorry this isnt very detailed hopefully il get a pic up later that will explain it more

thanks

jonny

Anyone no if you can get the ball seperately or if the ball and lever is the same on all 306's or if a gti one is different?
Got a project diablo 6 i'm doing up and the ball has fallen off the end of the lever so feels like its in neutral even when in gear LOL

If there all the same i'll just rob the whole lot from a scrappy Wink
