when my car is just ticking over (gti-6) it makes a loud noise like its tapping or somthing, what can be causing this? sorry its question after question but i dont seem to be having much luck lol. |

yeah mine sounded like death when i first got it!! but now ive put some new spark plugs in, oil and oil filter change, fuel filter change, air filter, and ran some redex through it, now shes quitened down a hell of alot. maybe you just gotta service it... |

ive got no history of a cambelt change and but ive got a fair bit of a service histort got a fair few stamps lol. i only have his word on the cambelt |

yer thats my recording on a crappy fone sounds better now tho, since then ive changed fuel filter and ran redex through it but its still a bit tappy when cold, gets better when warm |
