sounds like the sump won't be good news if its dumped the oil out unfortunately, but it may be possible to claim on your insurance / against the council |

the sump sounds likely that there's a big fooking hole in there and there's a chance the engine is seized, check the oil level before you go any further. BUT, if you don't know what the sump is, I suggest you either ring breakdown, or call a local garage and ask them to come and have a look. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Jesus, did you drive into a ditch or something I presume your car is pretty low? Under the battery would be the gearbox right, thats reasonably high up ________________________________________ Just Drive It |

As Rallyestyle said, the gearbox is under the battery. Come to think if it, isn't there an oil sensor on the sump near the gearbox end? Did that take a hit? ________________________________________ You feed beefburgers to swans. I may have been speeding Mr Policeman but [a] I live for the 306 and [b] did you see that dog? omfg |

Can you not take a photo, it has to be the sump or the sensor sat on the front to make the oil light come on.Carl ________________________________________ C.G.Cars of Leicester, Peugeot/Citroen/Renault specialist Tel: 01162 624498/07799 405184 WWW.CGCARSLEICESTER.CO.UK36 narborough road south, Leicester LE3 2fn MOT station now open, tests £35 with a free retest. Did the engine cut out? your sure it's not just the fuel cut off triggering that caused the oil light to come on?________________________________________ When I've got time I forget what I wanted to do, and when I remember what I wanted to do, I have no time! |
