Author Subject: HELP!!! Its all gone wobbly

On the way to work on Sat my car decided to go mentally wobbly. the steering shakes violently and the gear stick too. I originally thought it was one of the ball joints on the wish bone that i have replaced but its not that. whats else could it be, any ideas are appreciated.

i can see two of the engine mounts and they look ok, i have nudged the engine a bit with no immediate signs of it being that?? could it be anything to do with the CV?

i think its the shake is far to violent to be a wheel weight.

pop the bonnet and rev the engine to see if it rocks to test the mounts

it does feel like im constantly driving over a cattle grid yeh... even at low speeds...

wheel bolts were the forst thing i checked lol. just been scrappies for a new drive shaft.
