if you have had it done by professional, take it back and get them to verify its not a tapper or get it redone properly.________________________________________ Team allesclar ® |

i have thought about it but they are not willing to take the head back apart because they dont like to store the cars. i have read it could be the injectors. but it definetly sounds like tappets!! |

if it is the head tapping i would take it back and give them 2 options either fix it or give you your money back.dont fall into a trap getting spun off by bullshit even trading standards will be with you on this one (if its the head of course) good luck hope all is sorted soon. ________________________________________ my car's spending all my money grrrrrrrrrr |

i have taken the car and the problem is somebody has rebuilt the bottom end and has put the number 1 piston in number 4 2 into 3, 3 into 2 and 4 into 1 so the pistons are hitting the valves hence the tapping noise so it looks like an engine out jobby!!! |

which cylionder the piston was in originally and which it is in now would not affect this, I think someone has skimmed too much off the head.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
