Thinking of removing my air con from my 6, Is this an easy task or will it cause me problems? Any tips greatfully received________________________________________ Refurbing Cyclones Black work in progress!Phase 2 rear light conversion to go on. |

if it works i would say keep it although you are knocking weight off if you remove the compressor and everything to do with it. think the compressor weighs 5kg or something like that, so not much. i only removed mine because it seized up and a new compressor was like ________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

This is what i'm thinking, i never use it and it's more work for the engine and weight so i may as well havee it out, When you say aux set up, how do you mean?________________________________________ Refurbing Cyclones Black work in progress!Phase 2 rear light conversion to go on. |

can i just hijack this thread and ask if anybody who has removed thier aircon system knows how to seperate the pipe which goes from the compressor along the front and up to the rubber pipe by the top engine mount?it seems to be some sort of compression fitting?? can i do this myself as i have the pipe already sorry for hijack thanks ________________________________________ offering a selection of used french car spares, from 205 gti to citroen xantia, all parts are available and very reasonably priced.website in progress. enquire for any parts you need |

If the aircon isn't switched on it is barely using anythign anyway because the pump is clutched.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |
