Just got back from a run on a dyno near to me,Other than a full exhaust system with a decat and some lairy cams by kent cams (not sure on what spec as my numpty of a freind got rid of the spec sheet) & it only made a very dissapointing 163.4bhp & around 139lbs of torque .speaking to the operator he said we need a vernier pulley to advance the timing as we were running really lean at one point, You can see that on the dyno plot below,anyone know where i can buy one online?
He also went on to say we need a adjustable fuel pressure regualtor and new injectors??? is there any truth to this any i haven't heard of anyone touching these as a result of just changing to new cams?
He said he's never had a standard Gti-6 produce 167bhp on his rollers,more like 155bhp and he said the standard ecu on my car cant be mapped as its too old for obd2
