I've seen various threads regarding what discs can be used to fit the 406 brembo's when fitting to a gti6

206 GTi 180's
Xantia V6
307 110Hdi

Which are the best to use?
As it appears the xantia discs sit slightly off center which could be one of the causes of the squeel?

are the 206 or 307 ones better?

2 types of xantia disc's 283mm and 288mm i think and the larger one of the two sit in the centre of the caliper and not offset like the other ones.

I used these discs, they do squeel tho.

Think they fit behind some aftermarket 15" alloys

The 307HDi and the 206GTi are the same disc i think. Dont use the 406 Brembo's unless you use bells and adapters to make a 330 disc setup. I have moved to Renault Brembos form a 195 using a 406 305mm disc.

Did a trial fit today with xantia disc's, will require a few small tweeks and a 12mm spacer but will be able to run 1.9gti alloys. happy days.
