tempted by a set of the H7 ones for my ZX, I understand that they don't particularly like being switched on and off so not ideal for a separate main beam lamp? (like most 306's and higher spec ZX's and xsara's have) if that's the case I'll just stick some 100w Phillips or something similar in there any plans for a 4300k kit? I'm not a fan of the blueish tint commonly seen at all, looks a bit too blue in the pictures you put up ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

No the Xenons don't really like being 'flashed' but will still do the job, it just takes time for the HID bulb to 'warm' up. I don't think we will be selling 4300k kits as there isn't a big enough demand for them . The pictures I put up do have blue side light LED's in them . I'll post some up with the 6000k kit I've got fitted with some plain white LED side lights. In comparison the difference between my fatory BMW Xenon lights and the kit on my 6 hardly differ in terms of the 'blueness'. ________________________________________ 306 GTI-6205 GTI-6 Project 205 1.6 GTI - RIP 205 1.9 TT - RIP E39 535i - Daily driver *Newest edition* E60 M5 5l v10 - The weekend car |

Hi Matt,I received the kit today. Please pass on my thanks to Sebastian too. The lights look great! Only one problem though (which i kind of thought might happen) the vehicle diagnostics don't like them. So now my car keeps telling me i have blown headlights. Weirdly, the warning disappears on full beam but then reappears back on main beam. Are you aware of this issue and do you have a fix? I'd probably be right in saying this'll affect all VAG and BMW cars - probably any car with on-board diagnostics in fact. Would a relay somewhere help? Btw, it's a '98 Audi A4 TDi |

Thanks for the feedback MS.I had a feeling some cars would do this however I believe there is a cure. I will talk to Sebastian tomorrow and see what we can do about that. If we don't sell anything that will solve it then we'll have a look at another answer for you. ________________________________________ 306 GTI-6205 GTI-6 Project 205 1.6 GTI - RIP 205 1.9 TT - RIP E39 535i - Daily driver *Newest edition* E60 M5 5l v10 - The weekend car |

We should be adding them to our shop in January. I will post up some pictures though of my 6000k lights once it stops raining... -sinden- wrote: i have got a 6000k hid kits (not sure what make it is) what bulbs do i need for replacments as i noticed i have got one blown? cheers Sinden - I've just checked and we sold the last set of spare bulbs to a chap on here. I would like to order at least one more kit but i'd like to see where we get with this first. As for the kit itself - it's of great quality - made very well. I would have prefered some wires (mainly the one that runs to the battery) to be a little longer but that's just nit-picking. The instructions also aren't the easiest to follow but when you just unpack it all and place it on top of the engine bay, you can pretty much work out what goes where. I gave up with the instructions after about 30 seconds but having said that i'm really one for instructions anyway. Manny |

Manny - After speaking to Sebastian today we do sell a product that tricks the cars OBC into thinking that there is a working halogen bulb on the car however, we know it only works on the H7 kits. Were going to test them on the H4 kits so watch this space....MS wrote: The instructions also aren't the easiest to follow but when you just unpack it all and place it on top of the engine bay, you can pretty much work out what goes where. Ok Matt please let me know when you have a solution as it is quite annoying - especially having to explain to people 'what that beep was' and 'what that yellow light on the dash is'.My dad wants some in his car too but obviously they've gotta be 100% compatible. :-/ |

CUJ wrote: These look great, will almost certainly be getting some Yes i can definitely vouch for that - the lights are fantastic!!! I purchased the 6000K kit - they aren't chavvy blue nor too white either - just perfect like 'normal' xenons should be. More importantly - they definitely DO light up the road A LOT more than my previous halogons (which were some expensive OSRAM ones). And no - it's not placebo effect. You can certainly tell how much difference they make as they light up road signs from much further away. Good stuff. |
