when it's idle, there is a rattling/tickling sound from the middle. when i rev, the sounds doesnt get bigger i guess ________________________________________ 1998 GTi 6 - Black > Sold |

I would say injector noise, or possibly loose spark plugs. Were the plugs changed by the garage? |

HiThat sound a bit more ticky than my tapper used to sound so as above it could just be injectors. If it didnt sound like it before though I would definitly take it back, the sooner you raise the issue the more chance you will have of them believing they may have caused a problem. ________________________________________ Ryan |

Get it back to them ASAP, as said the longer you leave it before going back the easier it will be for them to try and wriggle out of addmitting liability for doing something that may be causing the noise. i had the same problem on my 6 after havin the timeing belt kit/ water pump fitted, it turned out too be the timeing belt was not tight enough which carl on here advised me to check which he was spot on , so may be worth a check ________________________________________ GTI-6 diablo & astra hair dressers mobile |
