GETTING CLOSE TO RUNNING MY REBUILT ENGINE IN SO I WENT TO PEUGEOT TO GET MY FLUIDS AND FILTERS ONLY TO BE TOLD THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF OIL FILTER I FORGOT TO GET THE PART NUMBERS BUT THE DIFFERENCES ARE WHEN YOU LOOK INSIDE THE FILTERS ONE HAS LOTS OF SMALL HOLES INSIDE AND THE OTHER HAS NOT SO MANY BUT LARGER HOLES IN ?
MY 6 IS A S REG IF THAT HELPS.

I would go for the Purflux one.

My dealer offers Motaquip super-cheap ones too, but Purflux are better quality.

funny that, pretty sure when I took the Motaquip one off Adam's car yesterday it looked identical to a PUG/Purflux item bar being matt black nad having Motaquip on the side Wink

Weighed a ton as well LOL
Looked pretty similar to the Peugeot original going back on as well. No starting on 3 this morning Mei - new plugs FTW

my local cheapy ones are motaquip Hmm

It's been covered before. There are two different levels of filtration due to the change in service intervals.

Welshy's right though, with the scaremongering and 2k oil changes that people on here recommend it won't matter which you fit so just get the cheapest! Laugh
