Well just rang them and yes they have that part, its classed as a bearing not hub so that is where the confusion was.
The thing is that Peugeot changed the hub spec in Sept 98 and mine was registered on 28/9/98.
I did say to him that the car was made/finished before Sept 98, i just want some sort of way to find out if it will be the right one for my car.

Any ideas ?

Cheers Smile

That part number was for a ZX with ABS, did you get the o.e part number off them for it?

I don't know what the difference could be apart from a different spec bearing used inside it as the offset is the same due to the spacer behind the bearing being the same for both types, but the washer at the front is different, might be that a wider bearing was fitted.

I can't imagine it making any difference which you fit as you get the washer with them.

Right faff this isn't it LOL

To right it is LOL

Thanks for your help Mei, ill get the part no now then edit this.

Im so much happier now i don't have to pay the above price, its a crippling price just for a rear hub.

EDIT> He told me the part no is N41330 which is the same as what you told me, anyhoo he told me the part iv ordered will also fit the Xsara/ZX ABS rear hub fitment.

Sorted, all i need now is a hub puller, nut
& cap then i can fit my new alloys in the knowledge it will be totally safe Happy

Cheers for the help Thumbs up

I'd think that ZX hub would do the trick as they use the same part on the earlier ZX, same discs throughout.

Apologies for the thread revival, what is the difference between the earlier and later hubs?

The later ones are heavier as they don't have the reduced thickness sections between the bolt holes AFAIK.

Holy thread revival!

Seems a waste to start a whole new thread to ask the same question for clarity..

Does it matter which ones I buy I need to replace both so will be matching
