As some of you may have seen in the projects forum I've just completed my wide track beam for my car. The plan was to build the car with Maxi track but without the body kit.
After asking on here the general consensus of opinion was to add between 40 and 53mm per side on the rear track to do the job, but after doing this my track measures about 1565mm,not the 1628mm that's specified for the works Maxi's.
To adjust the rear to get wider track wont be a problem if I decide to go down that route but it wont be as easy on the front so I want to be sure I'm getting things right before I get my leg in it.
The only explanation I can think of is that Dimma decided that it wouldn't be sensible to widen the track as much as the proper Maxi's unless you used the proper Maxi beam.
Do any of the Maxi owners on here know what track they are running (track being the distance form the center of one wheel to the other)
Cheers Martin.

That guy is running Ash's 30mm ARB, Solid Mounts & 23mm Torsion Bars & some adjustments on the camber. Admittedly, the guy is an awesome driver, but it just go's to show how well these cars can handle with the right modification's

This mean your going even wider now, or sticking to what you have given yourself already?
