some people have said its the aux belt, some have said pully.
any advice?

got in my car this morning and the aux belt was squeeling on tick over, anything over 1k and it stops and when the engines warmed up it doesnt squeel.some people have said its the aux belt, some have said pully. any advice? thanks in advance ________________________________________ fixed my heaters and found out my aircon works |

It'll be the belt if it's squealing. The tensioner and idle pulley make more of a grindy whiney noise when the bearings dry up.________________________________________ Rich |

is it like a cricket noise, like tick tick tick if so its your aux belt tensioner, spray some wd40 on the belt when the engine is running and see if it clears up, could be just a dry belt________________________________________ "Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. ok il try it tomorow mate. after driving it all day today it only seems to do it now and then. could it be anything to do with realy heavy rain over the last couple of days and the car just sitting there? luck trapped water that needs drying out?________________________________________ fixed my heaters and found out my aircon works |
