My 6 has f**ked up on me big time at the moment and I dont know were to start I cant get it booked in the garage till next week even. First problem is within 5 minutes of the car being on the temperature gauge goes straight to the red point where the stop sign comes on, plus the fans are working. Had the RAC come out and he reckons there is a leak in the actual thermostat where there is a screw but im not sure and the pressure in my radiator hose is solid as a rock. I have water in the the tank that seems to sometimes dissapear then reappear. Second problem is at the moment the car is sounding like a subaru and it is making a funny sound from the exhaust until I accelerate above 2 thousand revs the noise goes away and performance seems about 75%. Also just had the head gasket done about 6 months ago. Or is there anyone local I am in Walsall |

It could be that you've got air trapped in the cooling system.not sure about the rough idle though________________________________________ 1992 Onyx Black 205 GTI-62005 Honda S2000 (Sold) 2002 Audi S3 (Sold) 2005 Clio 182 Trophy (sold) |
