I bought my 306 (Phase 1 DTurbo-S 1996) a couple of weeks ago and have found out the reverse lights dont work. Ive checked the bulbs and the fuse and they're fine . Does anyone know what it could be because Im sure its an MOT fail. Cheers |

not an mot fail.chekc that there's power to the reverse light switch, and if there is, bridge the contacts to see if the lights come on,. if they do you need a new switch. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

yeh mine was the same, needed new switch, pretty cheap from pug strange that it doesnt fail mot? as i had to get mine sorted due to being stopped by the police, had a front headlight out, and they checked all electrics, and gave me a producer so i had to get a garage to sign it off... ________________________________________ Ex-Black 6 - Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... The reverse switch will just look like a nut attached to the side of the gearbox, it'll be the only thing with wires coming out of it. Ordinarily you'll find the bullet connectors about 6" from the gearbox are corroded or unplugged. If you find them, do as instructed above and bridge the contacts to see if the lights come on.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
