Had a quick check using the search function, but only found stuff relating to a constant squeal, whereas mine seems to be making more of a pulsing squeak noise.

It only happens at low RPM, especially now the weather's colder.

From watching a white mark on the belt going round and round, it seems to match the frequency of the squeak at about 120rpm when idle (basically 2 squeaks every second) which makes me think it's more belt related than pulley/tensioner?

Any suggestions? Some seem to say pulleys, others the tensioner, others even the aircon (no, it doesn't work of course..)

Money's tight at the minute, ideally i'd just go for the Wallye aux setup, just wondering how safe it is to drive just now Dunno

Same symptoms as what mine had. Mine was a noisy idler pulley in the aux belt system. It was by no means f*cked though. Still felt quite smooth when off but with the new one on the squeak was gone. Think it was
