seems to me like the cable needs tightening but being auto adjust it isnt possible? any ideas?

after refitting a engine into a mates 6 with new clutch kit it wont select reverse with the engine running and takes a bit of effort to go into forward gears when stationary,fine when moving though? seems to me like the cable needs tightening but being auto adjust it isnt possible? any ideas? cheers Ash ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

did you change the cable?odds are if not then its adjusted for the old clutch wear |

well they do have an adjuster that tightens to account for wear which will adjust down for a worn clutch so its possible. |
