i have recently fitted some pt82 cams, but wen i start it up,the engine wont tick over.i have replaced the air flow valve, but still no joy.the timing is correct and it was running ok before i put the cams in.could the inlet or outlet pulley be slightly out by a few degrees?would i need to get it re-mapped?any info would be much appreciated.rich.________________________________________ black and gold |

Will the engine run okay if you give it a bit of throttle? If it will then its probably just because you havent had it mapped. If it wont then before trying anything else I would check your piston/valve clearance as I'm sure I have read these PT82's have too much lift to fit in a standard engine. ________________________________________ Ryan |
