Hi Guys.

The Engine in my Citroen Zx 16v (same as S16 engine) is almost out. Time has come to order all of the engine rebuild parts.

Is citroen the best place to buy the rebuild parts or can you get the parts from anyone else?

I need Rings, Bearings, Seals , Gaskets, Belt and Clutch Kit.

the best quality engine specific bits will more than likely come from Citroen yes, though stuff like clutches you can get elsewhere like GSF or Euro car parts, or a Motaquip dealer for significantly less.

is it just old age or has it started Knocking?

I wouldn't order anything till you have striped it down, and even then, I'd be inclined to just drop in the XU10J4RS engine Wink

It's got 119k on the clock, It's a little down on power, needs a new clutch , new engine mounts, new timing belt and new engine mounts. I thought screw it , i'm keeping it for life so lets give it a rebuild. Fair enough , i'll strip it down and have a look at it. Will the Xu10J4RS work with the engine and wiring loom? Anyway a good GTI6 engine would be
