I went in september but was with *cough* fiestaturbo.com but did have a tootle over to the stand but there was no one there,

Yea it goes that well it overtakes me, aparently its a standard engine, but overtakes my mates which has a few mods and i can pass my mate. So its a weird one,

thought i would get some pics up of how it looks atm, bit of a mess, needs a good clean, had a good opportunity to take some pics while at work today when a nice car parked behind, **pics taken with shitty Iphone 4 cam**

and thought i would try HDR off the cam for the last pic Smile

next load of pics will be of it clean Big grin

Did you do the HDR yourself or is it a feature of the iPhone cam? Because it's terrible if i'm being honest. All the contrast has gone from the reflections and they've gone grey, like the wing of the Aston and the windows on the house in the background.

The idea of HDR is everything becomes more exaggerated, like so:

Looks like all that's happened is the curves have been adjusted badly in yours..

All you need is adjustable exposure settings, a tripod and ideally RAW images. Can still use jpegs just not as effective. I've been playing around with some pics too:

HDR would highlight all the shadows, you can't do that as effectively with just one jpeg

Probably bent the base plate that sits over the gearbox mount, possibly an ABS line has been moved previously and no longer sits where it should. Oecken's did the same and he ended up selling the car without fixing it LOL

I need to get stocked up on paint ready for the bodies being fitted Love

WetSand Time

Following on from spraying and letting the lacquer harden, i thought it was time to wetsand and polish these bits Smile not finishd them yet, but did a quick tester last night, was wetsanded with 1200grit as i didnt have any finer, so here are the pics,

Half sanded half polished Smile

heres some with a torch to show minor swirls (which will be gone)

was polished with my machine polisher, wasnt done properly was only testing as only passed once for about 1-2mins, but will get done propper once i get time Smile
