the head bolt washers dont come out with the bolt on removal, usualy the oil coating them causes them to stick to the internals of the head, yi need to lift them out with a magnetic rod, or tip the head upside down, was just wondering if i can reuse the ones i had, or if a new set should come with my new head bolts ???________________________________________ denwar |

Re use the old ones, it's just the bolts that have to be renewed.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. I sell new and used welding equipment in the Hampshire area. The washers come as part of the gasket kit, but I am sure you could buy them seperatly. There are 2 types of head bolts, one which use a male torque and they need the washers and ones that use a socket and these dont have the washers. I wouldnt re use the old ones they take a lot of torque when done up |
