Hi just fitted a new thermostat plastic housing pipe to my beloved gold gti-6 but when i come to fit the top rad pipe in it, it does not want to go in as if the 90 degree bend seems slightly too small or the rad pipe too long was gonna cut off the metal lip on the pipe to make it fit any ideas guys many thanks.. ????????? |

Try lubing the metal lip part of the pipe, it will slowly slide in. Also, a good idea is to use a new "o-ring" on the end of the pipe to seal it. Stan. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
