Royal Purple here too, pretty sure Stan is using Silkolene. |

i was using silkolene pro r which is 15-50 racing oil, which i probly wouldnt of had any issues, the engine i killed i was running comma oil, which was shit!! with my high boost engine i will be running royal purple.________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

Comma is usually decent oil, but as Rich advocates, film strength is key. Why scrimp on oil? |

i thought it would be ok to be honest, the pro r stuff i was using would be good enough as its what my mate using in all the rallye cars he services, and its only 42 plus vat for 5 litres in stead of 110 quid, but ive went for the dear stuff with my engine build, so that i have no problems________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

Russ runs normal 95 octane on his SC Rallye for the last year and covered probly 10k or so. so i dunno________________________________________ In my garage just now2003 BMW M3 & 2009 L200 Raging Bull & Audi Q5 S Line AX stock rod & Saxo Stock rod Sold the bike an charged rallye an bought a caravan, midlife crisis or what! |

To be honest with such a high compression engine, super unleaded is a given. Silly not to use it for a few more pence per litre. |
