right, we just put new valves and followers in my engine, had it all timed up by ex janspeed mechanic and fired it up and still tapping - thought yeah needs to bed in and get pressure up, but its up to full operating temp now and still tapping what else can it be?________________________________________ 205 XU10J4RS by PUG1OFF 236.4 BHP at Northampton Motorsport.Lets Race! |

Valve guides it always is Or could be slipped crank pulley - follows was a waste of money have never seen one that needed changing |

yeah seats recut, thats the only thing i can think of that could still be bedding in. It may be the case that when the head was refitted you have caught a couple of the valves, have seen this no end of times and its a case of the owner or mechanic nearly crying.It looks like you will need to remove the head again fella.
