Hi all i have bought new discs and pads for the rear brakes. Was going to give it a pint at changing the brakes myself but thought i would leave to the experts. Phoned around and best quote im getting for fitting the rear discs and pads is 60, but said it could be more if they have trouble with the piston's. Are they just blagin me to try get more money or can these be a pain to replace? ________________________________________ Back to my phase 2 in black on the road.Phase 3 sold after spending fortune on it.. Was looking at the faq and searched and the back brakes look fairly simple to replace. Just wondering if i should try get some new screws for the discs to replace them at same time. ________________________________________ Back to my phase 2 in black on the road.Phase 3 sold after spending fortune on it.. Easy job, but hard if you lack the tools. If you're not confident doing it yourself there is little point spending money on the tools which you could spend on labour to get someone else to do it.If it's a 2-hour job then ________________________________________ '99 1.8 XS - Sold'00 GTi6 - Killed by armco '01 Cabriolet 1.8 - Sold '96 Eunos Roadster 1.8 Import |
