Yes, sorry guys, i know its been covered a few thousand times, and i have searched,the reason for the post really is to get the correct parts, and prices, the symptoms are Creaking seeming to come from the front Offside, only heard when go very slow speeds, normally on full lock, from what ive read it could be.

Anyone know the Where to get the following from or Part Numbers>?

I had the same problem, Changed the drivers top mount and bearing but the noise is still there....I've tried to diagnose what else it could be but i've given up now, lol

also i seemed to think it was coming from passenger side..

Just wos on my list to do next as sometimes when pulling of very slowly, heard a creek /clonk sounded like it came from behind the dash board drivers side, took it to a garage couldnt diagnose as everything in perfect order Unsure

none of them parts i repalced, in ownership but i do know when i picked it up , it cost the guy

wouldnt imagine so, any other symptoms? the steering is normal, not heavy or anything, just a creaking as mentioned when at very low speed.. ?

Just thinking mine was like that and just got worse then the pump packed up completly,Ball joints and droplinks would give you a knock rather than creaking,have you tried tightening the the strut bearings?.

I had the top mount knock too. The symptoms were just as jimmyrallye said. I had a set of group 'n' mounts supplied and fitted by PUG1OFF. Apparently they welded something up under the top mount too. Done it all for

Ball joints and droplinks cost between 10 and 20 quid each at the factors.And about forty quid each from pug.

Droplinks should be plastic,wouldn't really like to comment on the mounting kit as it's a bit vauge,mail them your reg or phone them and ask.

plastic you say? id presume it would be the metal ones.... il drop them an e-mail and see what happens, still dont quite know what the above posts mean by "bet its your top strut mount" .. Crazy

just been out in it, its does seem to be more of a loud know, once or twice whilst turning at low speed,

Ph2 1998 R Reg, ball joints, that what my old mechanic at home seemed to think and the old man, although he called it a "Constant velocity joint" Lol, they pricey..
