just got 1 of these

wondering if anyone has one and/or has fitted 1 ?

im in the process off trying to fit it! #

i have a R (1998) Gti6 phase 2 !

ive removed the old unit,
however thats pretty much 1 solid piece all welded together!

with the motor removed from the old linkage theres no where for the motor to sit ?

so nothing for the new linkage to be supported on/with

so the whole lot is just kinda laying there & obviously not working right!

somethings obviously not right !

what can i do ?

thanks

you just swap the linkage over and keep the motor and brakets etc all as is

the linkage you can remove easily, the rest you leave alone

i gave up on my storm wiper kit. i ended up getting them to send me a selection of differnet crank arms and making my own perfecftly central mounting poiint and custon length bar out of the old peices

all in all about a days work of trial and error

but it sits centrally and has about 160 degree arc
