I have been looking for a passenger side front brake line for weeks! Ever place I go to lists this http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Peugeot_306_2.0_1998/p/Car-Parts/Brakes/Brake-Hydraulics/Hoses-and-Pipes/?135735050&1&ad204ebc3aaf2952ff7b1b8db85cfefc8ca0adb5
as the front brake line but this does not fit my caliper, I need a hose like this
http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=108313&page=last

Notice both ends are the same, has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know where I cna get this hose from?

Do you mean the flexi hose or the metal line that comes under the body?

That hose from ECP is the correct one for the standard calipers Yes

No, they are all the same. Can you post pictures of what you have on the car at the moment? Something here doesn't add up...

Yes it should be a male one end and female one end but for some reason my car needs female fittings on both ends as per the forum link...

I just cant understand it, what brake swaps do people do on these cars? Could it possibly be that the connections onto the caliper and from the caliper to the line have been changed as all the brake lines are now copper.

You should have from the car a copper pipe with a male fittinpg.
This goes in to a female fitting on the end of the flexi.
Other end of flexi has a male on it that screws in to the caliper.
I dont know of any pug that uses a female end on the caliper.
