Just got back from taking the car for a blast only to be confronted with a redish coloured fluid leakinf from the bolt seen in the pics, not sure what it is, could someone help please?

Thats a powersteering pipe so thats powersteering fluid. if it smlls horrible then it may be gear box oil but being redish and smells kinda sweet? then it's definetly powersteering fluid________________________________________ When I've got time I forget what I wanted to do, and when I remember what I wanted to do, I have no time! |

Cheers fella, did think it was power steering fluid from the colour but weren't too sure.Any idea what needs replacing? I'm rubbish at this game |

Me guess is that pipe has a small pin hole in it or slight crack. Mine went there.Not that hard to replace if you take your time. Its just a fairly long pipe and a bit fiddley. Getting the pipe cheap is another matter. Would look for someone breaking one. |
