It is quite normal to run a little hotter dan.. echoe the intercooler blocking most of the rad..

I've got twin 11" spal fans on mine which are the nutsYes

Got them wired to the A/C switch too just in case..

I'd check the sensor on the housing too.. as a faulty one it could be..

??
wtf as wayne pointed out to me the more fans you have the more direct flow area you are actually blocking off. Ive got one fan in the middle as the rallye only had one anyway. Oh and a 16 row oil cooler instead.

If its not enough ill duct some air to it

Probably not. I'm sure Dan's blown up another engine in the last 2 years.

Just spent 5 mins reading this then found out how old it is LOL , I too had a prob with overheating when I went high boost, as I found the fans where a little slow at getting the temperature down because of the large fmic and because they where going at half speed first, especially in standing traffic, the solution I used was to use an aftermarket fan controller to switch both fans on at full speed at 95 degrees (they go off when temp hits 90), cars never gone over 100 since Smile

LOL F***, didnt see the date, sorry!!Was wondering bcos my car is overheating while i am in the traffic. Strange symptom bcos normally in this situation, oil temp doesnt go that high. Water temp is ok, fans ok, but sometimes oil overheat. Considering to change the sensor of oil temp. Does anyone had this problem??
