hi all , i have fitted my engine in ,my 205 today and i have a few problems ? the master cylinder sits right on top of the cam covers ? and has now cracked it ,i am useing the 406 mount with the large rubber on ? i think i need a 306 gti6 mount ? as the engine sits to the n/s now ? any ideas or should i just get the 6 mount and see what happens ? ________________________________________ CLUB PUG |

you can use some spacers on the MC to rase it abit or you could grind a little off the cam cover, afew people just use a different mount. there has been a number of topics about this before try a search for more details |

Sounds like you need to use the 6 top mount along with the standard 205 rubber screwed into the body, are you saying the engine is on the p*ss?Even with a 6 mount you will still need to do something with the master cylinder, as it will be trying to munch into the cambelt cover. ________________________________________ 205 GTI6- Ledas, Tran-X diff, billet 4 pots, big bar rear beam, Jenveys and Emerald.Black P2 306 Gti6- Lowered, PTS rear spoiler- the daily hack! |

I'm using a BX 16v Clutch for my 205 GTi-6 Conversion. Its the same as the Mi16v Clutch but is definatly the 1900 version, as the 2000 version of the Mi is the same as the 306, not the 205________________________________________ TEAM 205 GTi-5TEAM Phase 1 GTi-6 xbox Live tag: SilverGTi6 |
