One end is 22mm is it? I've got a 19mm U-bend bit of pipe from Siliconhoses.com on mine, slightly chopped at one end. Thought it was a bit tight...________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

nope to much weight nah i figured my matrix was kerput as i was nearly dieing from coolant fumes when driving so figured instead of spending money on a matrix id bypass it rip the heater out, save some weight and buy heated screen. will also allow me to run a cage bar across inside the dash as this is part of the Custom cages cage ill be fitting eventually and besides feeling cold is all in the mind. I may come to regret this yet but ill save the heater in case i need it back. Apparantly it gets hot inside the car with no carpet anyway from the exhaust etc. |

Would one piece of 22mm ID hose do the job to as I'm guessing you'd be able to clamp the hose tight enough on the end which is 19mm? ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

You possibly could clamp it tight enough Matt, but to be honest for peace of mind I would get the correct size. Not worth the risk IMO of having a coolant leak and HG pop. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Very true. This is only a temp fix as my matrix has started to leak and completely fog up the inside of my car so just gonna bypass for 2 weeks until my mate can help me rip the dash out.So to clarify 1x22mm ID pipe 1x19mm ID pipe and 1x19mm ID - 22mm ID straight connector? Also whilst this thread is still on topic, I'm completely removing the AC matrix and box for non AC as i have the AC delete set up. My question is will the fan switch still work with the existing fan speed switch or will i need the non AC switch which has speeds labelled 1-4?? ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

Also are all non AC matrix's the same across the 306 range? Or will I be presented with a million and one options from my local motor factors? ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

You do know youll need the heater box, all the controls, poss some wiring which is stuck to the dash, a heater blower motor, and to cut a new hole in the bulkhead, and block the old one.Should just be the valeo type. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
