hi there

just got hold of this GTI-6, done a P/X with an old VTR for it.

1996 P Plate Phase 1 GTI-6 in Diablo Red
122k
Lowered on Bilstein Suspension
Induction Kit
Bonnet Pins
Tailgate Pins
Sparco Rev Bucket Seats in Black
TRS 4-Point Harnessess in Green
Rear interior removed
Cyclone's resprayed Gunmetal















hope you all like

only have a few plans for it - change of exhaust and further handling improvement (set of 888s to start with)- maybe if i can be bothered a phase 3 front end

will have it on Knockhill this weekend (Sunday)

god i thought it was mine for a minute lol... same colour ph1 with same colour cyclones lol.

ps, how did you mount your seats? do they sit low enough?

seats have brackets welded between the bottom of the runners and where the seatbelt rail is meant to be (you can see it in this picture) - there fixed in and are very solid - got to think the seatbelts rail position has to be a strengthened part of the cra (well i'd pressume so) so is a decent enough place to bolt the seats in.



this is how the car was bought, all iv done is fit a cd player to it lol -

Looks good,has the cam belt been done?Your not wanting that to go on the track.

I'll keep an eye open for you,my girlfriend stays in Dunipace.

yea timing belt and water pump were both done less than a thousand miles ago so no worries there. Its my daily the now doing about 80 miles a day so it'd b even worse if it went then lol. Cool i'll have a look out.

i dont know the exact colour the wheels are unfortunatly - but a colour i do know that works and is good is Honda Cosmic Grey - i done a set of Cyclones this colour for my girlfriends Saxo in Wicked Red - this pic should so how well the colour went

They're the seats i'm after. Did you get 'em from DT? As they're around 600 spondoodles for 2 which is a tad excessive imo. Been scanning ebay for a while and none seem to be coming up.
