I have no idea what it is doing it for but today i started the 6 up and it was idling fine but when pulling away it would misfire really bad i have checked the coils and one won't spring up? i haven't had this problem before apart from sunday it was very hesitant also the cat is rattling around could this of blocked the exhaust?

i had a rattle in my de-cat'd exhaust and it turned out to be the exhaust gasket leading to the manifold. get the car on ramps and shake it around abit, have a look at the springs

How much movement should there be in this joint? Is it easy to see if its the problem?
