Hi! i have a Citroen ZX 16v Dakar 1997 and I'm from Brazil.

my Dakar have K&N E-9000 inbox air filter, PSAmaniacos strut bar, peugeot 206 1.6 Eibach coil, Xsara VTS Koni yellow shocks, ODG shif light, Cronomac instruments, MOMO carbon shifter, Shutt carbon pedals, Xenon HID 6000k...
my next upgrade is a TURBO...

in Brazil Citroen ZX Dakar is a very rare, but very devalued.
your Main rival in the streets is a Honda civic VTI 160hp

sorry for my poor English

below some photos of my zx in action on a OKTANE trackday.

RHD = right hand drive, Veronese...

the ZX Dakar sold in Brazil only uses this steering wheel because of the air bag. the other ZX 16V (155hp) is known here as ZX Coupe and has the steering wheel that almost knows...

TFC forjed connecting rod, 158mm, 22mm pin..

Wiseco forjed piston, for Toyota Supra, 86,5mm, 22mm pin, 0,9mm higher than original, I'll take these 0,9mm of the piston head...
tip: the Toyota MR2 has the same piston of the Supra but are sold in 4 units...

Sparco

new head

polished, equalized, valves guides cut, valve angles...

PU bushings, PTFE gasket

Wiseco for Supra, 6 units whith rings ans pins

Koni & Eibach

Old photo, with friend

now the engine is being assembled with forjed parts and new head, then comes turbo kit Ninja
